Looking up into the Joshua Tree Forest

This is from my “Protective Buddha” series. Buddha keeps watch over the joshua trees in Califonia. I painted this Buddha while the joshua trees burned in recent wildflowers. I was not aware at the time they were burning, but felt somehow that they needed protection. Framed in black floating frame that is ready to hang or can be placed on a shelf.
